x-leg / The 'Journey of the Mind' leg

Xleg is the virtual leg of Pilgrim Cross – a pilgrim community you can join from the comfort of your settee. Xleg is an online “Journey of the Mind” for those who, for any reason, are unable to join one of the walking legs but still want to be part of the pilgrimage. Liturgy, study, conversation & activities, this year around the theme of Liminality. Then the opportunity to join the rest of the pilgrimage for the weekend liturgies in Walsingham in person, or via live video links over the Easter weekend.

Xleg 2025 is into the final planning stages and we’re getting excited. Our theme for the week will be ‘The Tree of Life.‘

We’ve committed, through Pilgrim Cross to being officialy LGBTQ+ friendly this year (we always have been). We’re open to people of all faiths and those who are questioning, a bit like our Godparent, Northern Leg of Pilgrim Cross with whose help we were born.

We’ve been having a PowWow on the 4th Sunday of the month on Zoom from 1.30-3.00 throughout the year. This has kept us all in touch and given us lots of fruitful discussions, fun and support.
